Bangladesh’s young innovators have made their mark on the global stage, bringing home two bronze medals from the prestigious 2nd International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IOAI) held in Beijing, China. The high-profile event gathered 86 teams from 73 countries, uniting some of the brightest minds in artificial intelligence for a week of intense competition, cultural exchange, and friendship.

Flying the Bangladeshi flag high, Md. Riasat Islam, a 10th-grade student from Rajuk Uttara Model College, and Arefin Anwar, a 12th-grade student from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, secured bronze medals with their outstanding performances. Misbah Uddin Inan of Notre Dame College earned an Honorable Mention, while his classmate Abrar Shahid completed the four-member team.
