BdAIO 2025

If 2024 proved the potential, 2025 proved the demand. The second edition of BdAIO saw a 600% surge in participation, signaling that AI education has reached the grassroots level in Bangladesh. From the bustling streets of Dhaka to the classrooms of Rajshahi and Chattogram, the “AI Generation” has arrived.

National Finals at BUBT

The Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) served as the prestigious host for the 2025 National Round. This year, the competition was split into two distinct tracks.

Machine Learning & Programming

171 Finalists competed in a Kaggle environment, solving complex data science problems and optimizing neural networks.

Quiz competition

235 students participated in a multiple-choice pen-and-paper examination, testing their knowledge on AI, LLM and ICT.

International Round

Competing against 86 teams from 73 countries, our students proved that Bangladesh is a rising powerhouse in Machine Learning.

  • 2nd International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO) – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

    The 2nd International Winter Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO) was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Bangladesh was unable to participate in the competition due to visa-related issues. A four-member student delegation had been selected to represent the country; however, despite preparations, the team could not travel to the host city to attend the event.
